Yesterdays latest ever Spotted Flycatcher record has been bested!
Today I had a dudey day out with friends and we ended up on the Stringers patch. Even just duding round, there were plenty of migrants that attracted my attention; a Spotted Flycatcher in the walled garden at Low Newton, a Willow Warbler on the tide line feeding on insects from the sea weed, at least four Wheatears around the point by the compound and scores of Robins and a dead water logged Dunnock on the beach.
