October 10 2010

Being in the comfortable position of not needing anything that was on offer in the county, I decided that I would play it cool and try and find something myself…
£113,019,926; not only the winning amount on Friday’s Euro Millions draw, but also the amount I would have had tonight if I could have had a pound for every Robin that I looked at! Everywhere, scores of them, ok, I may have slightly exaggerated the amount that I saw.
So, the prize for going it alone; a Yellow-browed warbler at Ridley Park in Blyth. Still plenty of common migrants, a couple of which posed for me today.

and I still haven’t seen a Red-flanked Bluetail, a Radde’s or a Dusky Warbler this year, yet!
