A day in Druridge today, trying to catch up with the Stilt Sandpiper. We did find it at Cresswell pond, in front of the hide with lots of Lapwing. It later moved onto the North pool where it showed briefly for the camera, before the heavens opened and it didn’t come close again during the time we were there.
While waiting Dunlin and Ruff showed very well
and up at Druridge, a Curlew in front of the hide
